I got an old Logitec cam sitting around somewhere in the moving boxes. I'll have to dig it out

Yep. I got one too. It was a freebie when I signed up for Earthlink way back when Windows was in its infancy! The drivers are still available though...maybe I'll hook it up and bless you all with my image. ;D

Here are two really good extensions for MSN Messenger Live. They each add all sorts of extra features, winks, sounds, etc. without adding any annoying spyware. Just be sure to check the "Do Not Install Host" box where applicable. www.msgpluslive.net/download/and www.sweetim.com/download.asp

Uh, I had to literally remove the webcam from our house when my teenage son did just *enough* to push me there....

Hey all! I just invested in a webcam. I also checked out some software that looks really promising for video conferencing. You can get the free software from www.research.earthlink.net/confmgr/Here's what you need to do to get it running: After downloading and installing the software, open it up and under Actions, select Login. When the Conference Manager pops up, click Help. That opens up your browser and directs you to the help files. Select Get an Account and follow the directions. Your user ID will be your real name as you enter it! Once you complete registration, check your email to confirm your account and then just log in. The more people on at the same time, the more fun it will be.
