Come to think of it, you may be right! Gosh, that was some funny stuff. And from the looks of it, Clark has not changed very much!

Not one of my favorites, but who remembers Mr. Krivan (Kermit the Frog)? Had to be one of the strangest people on the planet. Also, the physics teacher, Ralphie (I can't remember his last name) --that man hated me so much he couldn't wait to fail me, and he did. I had to take Oceanography in my senior year just to get my science credit. As for some of my favorites: I liked Mrs. Arthur (Algebra II), I thought Mr. Schwenger was totally cool, Mr. Caudill was strange but cool, and Mr. Rohan (the singing history teacher) was a great guy. I'm sure I can come up with some more favorites, but I'd have to look in my yearbooks and they are already packed for Texas!

I liked Mrs. Haubert and took her for a number of math classes. One of my favorite all time teachers was Mr. Vincent at Lincoln Park. He was such a nerdy little guy, but I loved how he taught American History. To this day, I can put some obscure American History fact out of my memory.

I loved Mr Schwennger!! I tortured that poor man and he took it all in stride. I made him eat a whole handful of pop rocks at once. I also hit him square in the nuts one time by mistake! Does anyone remember the geography teacher, I think it was Mr. Miller or something? He always started his problems out with " say you had to get to K-Mart"

Oh my gosh, Cindy! I was just talking about Mr. Vincent the other day! I absolutely adored him, unless I was sitting in the first row!!! He was one of my inspirations to become a teacher. I loved the way he used games to teach us. Were you on the trip to White Hall in West Palm Beach when the bus got robbed?

yes, I was on the trip where the bus was robbed. I have never felt so sorry for a teacher as I did for Mr. Vincent that day. I often wonder what happened to him. I reallyloved the way he taught. I wish more teachers taught like him.

What was amazing from that trip was that he replaced the things that were stolen from me (money and a radio)! Being quite poor growing up, my parents and I were beyond flabbergasted by his kindness and generosity. I wonder where he is as well.

I remember him replacing items for students, although I did not remember which students lost items. I believe the world would be a much better place if more people were like him. He obviously left a great influence on us and I would bet he was influential in many others lives as well.

Mr. Vincent was good friends with my neighbor, Mr. Formica - on Hispana Ave.
Mr. Formica was a teacher too - he died around 10 or so years ago. Mr. Vincent always came over to the Formica's house to visit and many times I would go there too since they were both such great people (this was when I was like a senior or right out of high school). Mr. Vincent had never married and lived with his mother {{at least back then}}
I asked Mr. Vincent to my wedding and he came plus bought me such a wonderful cook book which he inscribed and signed on the inside. I still have that book and have wondered about him myself from time to time.
I think I could get his contact information. My mom could ask Mrs. Formica, I bet anything they are still in contact.
He was such a sweet man. I remember one time he gave Lisa Brancaccio an extra 'A' because she was able to recite by memory every president with their vice presidents IN ORDER.
Another time I was having a horrible time and it was on a test day. He always walked around the room during tests if you remember.
On one of the *fill in the blank* answers I had no idea what the answer was so I had written in "sorry, I must be dumb" on that line. He stops dead in his tracks when he walked past me and took my paper and me outside. He was so kind and concerned and a bit upset that I had called myself dumb. What a great guy he was.
If there were more people like him in the world then I think we would all be better off.

I agree that he was a very inspiring teacher, Lisa! Like I said, he was one of the reasons I became a teacher. I wanted to make learning as fun and exciting for my students as he did for all of us.

"Mal" - Mrs. Mallonee, hands down was my favorite. She still is ... I swap emails with her occassionally and it's amazing to see how OLD her children are now. You know what that means ... we're OLD! UGH! Seriously, she is such a doll and always took care of us. And, the permanent hall pass that she gave me as Editor of the Nulla Pambu was a Godsend. As was the free stack of hall passes from Monds. He was the best, too - Wonderful Terrific Monds. I wonder where he is now?? Anyone know?
Clark - we had the best time working on the newspaper and underground Last Will & Testaments didn't we?? Anyone still have the underground piece? I came across it when I moved to OK this summer and laughed so loud when I read it. My nephews thought I was losing it!

I remember Mr. Monds too. He was so cool. I read in the paper a year or so ago that he died.
