Peter did go, I remember reading about all of the "girls" from our class wearing "mom" jeans or something like that on his myspace page. It was hilarious! Don't know if he took pics or not, but I'd pay good $$ to see em!

It wasn't a huge turn-out. I don't remember seeing anyone with a camera.

I believe Eddie said he went!! Clark, get that guy to post some dirt!!! I did talk to Eddie, Lisa Deshong is a member here, sorta, I guilted her into joining, but she is less than computer savy.. she has a few poor quality photos taken with a cheap throw away camera.. she's trying to find the negatives so we can make higher resolution digitals.. Eddie B. said some people looked about like he expected.. while at least one young lady was "finer than she was fine in High School"

Jeff, if you went then I expect a nice commentary written on the events soon. (500 words, single space and you can not repeat the same sentence over and over)

There really isn't much to write about. Seeing Peter was the high point of my evening. I actually left and went to another party.

After paying that ridiculous amount for the party, you left??!!! Boy, it must have been very lame!! I was going to show up at the baseball game but it was raining in Vero so I decided not to go. We had tickets to Daytona race so I wasnt missing that.

every one wants to know how the reunion went. to tell the truth i have been trying to avoid the whole topic for fear of getting anyone angry. im sure the people who put the thing together did the best they could under the circumstances. in a nut shell: it wasnt worth $200.00 per person let the being mad at peter begin. im sure most of it was in my head. im sure i went into it with a bad attitude. im sure everyone else had a great time. let me explain. my wife is 10 years younger then me (i know....im a cradle robbing pervert, ive heard it before). she grew up kinda a conservative church type (not that there is anything wrong with that). over the last 12 years (yes we waited 11 years to get married, like i said, she was young when we started dating. yes, im a pervert) she has heard many many stories about the "glory days" (blah, blah, blah....and then we washed mystery person in a car wash....blah, blah, blah....and then clark pulled up his pants & said "man, that sheep is gonna walk funny for a week. lets get more beer!"....blah, blah, blah) over & over again. im sure she is way tired of it. well, i was really looking forward to putting faces with all the stories ive told her time & time again. if any thing else, i wanted to prove to her that the stories were true (except the one about clark & the sheep, i can neither confirm nor deny the truth behind that one. you will have to ask clark. or the sheep). i guess i was just disappointed that the turn out was so small. (like i said, i had a bad attitude) the ball game was sorta nice, i hung out with doug swartz (who is the most cool county boy in the world) that was real nice. the club med thing was really..........um.........not good. club med looks exactly like it did in 1972 when my family moved to town. the food was cold & the beer was "lite". i did talk to rick snelling, john anderson & jeff helms most of the night. that was fun. the dj was every cheesy dj stereotype only with a lot more line dance music (im sure more people are gonna be pissed at me but god do i hate line dancing) dede von & dj dreadlocks (the only decent picture from the whole reunion, sorry) the next day was nice, the bar-b-q might have been the highlight of the whole weekend. by sunday everyone seemed to be a little more relaxed so conversation & hugs were more in order. we left early so i can only imagine things picked up, everybody danced & had a great time making fun of the stuck up, bald guy from orlando (me) that, having been said. i think clarks idea of having a "more mellow" 25th reunion is a great idea. something that we don't have to try so hard at. kind of a b.y.o.b. 3 day long party. i would be more then happy to lend a hand in any way i can. well, you all asked for it, now you got it. thats my story & im sticking to it. xxxxxooooo, peter von

I only intended to be there Saturday night so that's all I payed for. Don't get me wrong, I did stay for several hours. It's just that I had a whole lot of other friends to visit in my short time in FL and they were having a party that night. I spent Sunday at my favorite place of worship: on the water. I flew back to Colorado on Monday.

I think the reason most people didnt go was because of the price. I believe that's why just before the reunion, the price was broken up into days. Speaking of reunions, did anyone go to the 10th??? I guess it's just hard sometimes because since it's in the summer, alot of people are making vacation plans with their families.

Peter, I agree with you 100%. You said everything I didn't want to have to say. I can especially relate to wanting to prove your stories were true. I feel that way for about half of my past.
