My work computer
Download Speed: 3030 kbps (378.8 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 313 kbps (39.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
I noticed on the same computer using different servers my speed changes by a lot at home.

holy cow if you're that high upload speed you rule Thanks Mike! I ran the test again just to make sure I didn't screw anything up (I've been known to do that) and got similar results. Here they are... 5762 kbps down (720.3 KB/sec transfer rate) 5430 kbps up (678.8 KB/sec transfer rate) Bob, if you need to know my ISP for your project, it's just a little local company out of Springtown TX called SkyWi.[/quote]

What type of service is it (DSL, Cable, Fiber Optic??) Thanks again! Oh, Kristine, are you anywhere near Needlesville (I am not sure if I am spelling or saying that correct)? Also, if you remember Debbie Wilson, she is floating around Texas somewhere too.

I'm afraid I don't know what they promise for speed. However, the service is wireless broadband (is that the same as DSL?).
I looked on a Texas map and I found a town called Needville (could that be what you meant?). Anyway, it's located near Houston and I am just outside of Fort Worth, so it would be pretty far from me. Then again, Texas is so damn huge there are a lot of places that are pretty far from me! LOL
