Holy Crap! the Tape Deck is STILL in business there? Raffles sounds familiar, but I can't place it. the tape deck is like styrofoam. it will be around long after we are gone & it will still have 8 track tapes for sale. i worked there form 89 to 92. it was one of my all time favorite jobs (& ive had many jobs). i never made much money there but i always had a great time.

That was the last time I saw you working in the area. I took off to Sarasota about the same time you took off for Orlando

And I guess I'm the only stupid one to move back. I did enjoy Orlando for the ten years I was there but I definitely do NOT miss the traffic.

It was alittle bit of a horror when I lived in Winter Park and worked down by the Florida Mall. I moved closer to work then and was living about a mile south of Sea World. It was only a 15 minute drive to work but it became a slolam course around the tourists who didnt know which lane to be in. Now, all I have to contend with are the old people who have forgotten how to drive. I'm not sure which is worse!

I used to live on Goldenrod. I did all my shopping there on Fairbanks and we used to go to Thornton's occasionally.
