I loved this guy. I had him 4 straight years. A record that still holds. He was my favorite teacher by far. Mrs. Reeder was a close second.

It's funny how much him and I had in common. We both loved Seton Hall Basketball. I didn't think his name was Joseph though. Either way I'm sad now.

I thought that I heard Mr. Negoro died from some type of cancer. Clark, did you say that you heard Mr. Lockey died as well??? I'd have to put Miss Taylor as my favorite teacher, with Mr. Casanova running a very close Second, and Ms. Bonnie Baker (AP English senior year) running third. On a different note, I heard that Mr. Hylick (biology) has hooked up with Ms. Annis (fairly new math teacher that came on board in like 85 or 86) and they are living in sin together somewhere here in FP. lol

Well for me it was always Mrs. Haubert. Because of her I started a lifelong love of math. Hell I even remember signing up for the 'extra' 8th grade period class after school in order to take computer math. Must skip a generation though because BOTH my boys struggle in that subject.
And who was that 9th grade English teacher, the man, who was out in the trailer room....he was the one who handed out a long list of older literature (Steinbeck, etc) and allowed us to read books and take oral exams on the books once we read them. I remembered each book had a point value and as long as you received 90+ points from those oral book tests then you got an automatic A.....no homework, never take any in class written tests - nadda! It was because of him I read every book on the list and have loved classic literature ever since. Was it Caudill? Hell, I can't remember at this point.
One teacher I never cared too much for was Mrs. Specker (so why in the hell did I take 4 years of her French??). But she was passionate about her teachings I just didn't get along with her personality. Oh, and plus what was I thinking? French never helped me one time in life! (shoulda took Spanish)
Then I also remember one who I"m sure has died by now, Mr. Hooker. He used to give me packets of blank hall passes and let me fill them out however I wanted, lolololololol......I made $$ off them things! That and I never sat still in his class. Hell, on test day all I had to do was go pick up the master key off his desk and he didnt' even care! I"d pass it around the class.....we all got A's that term!
Dang, how nice it is to look back that far. Geez, Am I really 38? ACK!
Shit I don't know how I even made it all the way through since I 'allowed' Lisa Denning to corrupt me starting in 10th grade with all that 'field' and herbal stuff.....Them days are long over too.
Remember Mrs. Webster the big breasted hall cop? Christ, that woman literally *chased* me one time while I ducked into a room. All because my skirt was above my knees! Now these days people wear shorts, short skirts and just about anything to school yet we were NEVER allowed to!
Okay, off to the real world for awhile.

Hi Lisa! I cracked up reading your post...how true! Ms. Webster would have a heart attack if she saw the way these girls dress now in high school...she only sent me home once for wearing a "too short" dress. Was that her only job??? lol
Mr. Caudill, I had for freshmen English out in the portable. I remember Clark pasting some playboy (or possibly worse) pictures either in the classroom or some books or something...at any rate, it was funny as hell!
Nice to see you on here, your pics are great and you look marvelous!

It was a PlayGIRL that we "borrowed" from Terry Green's Stepmom I put it on his P.O.S. aqua blue old truck under the windshield wiper so it would unfold whenever the wind blew...
Mark Austin's GF I fortget her name narced me out and Mr. Caudill handed me the cenetrfold folded up the next day in front of the class saying that I had dropped a picture of my "boyfriend"
He got me good, it was in retrospect pretty cool of him not to get me suspended...
Looking back with all the shit I pulled it is a miracle I never got suspended, maybe the teachers knew I was just a harmless goof

Okay okay, someone with a yearbook please tell me Mr. Caudill's first name. I'm seriously trying to find this guy. I even wrote FPC's website and already got a response! Here's her response: Hi Lisa! This e-mail was forwarded to me by our webmaster. Our records on the computer only go back to 1986 and don't list past teachers. You may want to go to the link below (St. Lucie County Schools website) for our records department to see if you can maybe get a copy of an old report card. If you find out the teachers' names, let me know and I will ask a couple of teachers that were here when you were here if they have contact information for them. www.stlucie.k12.fl.us/parentsPortal.aspx?id=iFrame|http://plato.stlucie.k12.fl.us/mis/Transreq.nsf On a side note, I graduated from FPC in 1987 (maiden name was Medvedeff - my sister is Jackie). I am here as an assistant principal at Central. It certainly is nice to reminisce and remember our old teachers. Let me know if I can help! Lilly Lilly Beauchamp Assistant Principal Fort Pierce Central High School 772-468-5779 BTW Clark if you want to email her directly (hell you have her number now, lol) its not on the website and here it is: BeauchampL@stlucie.k12.fl.us <BeauchampL@stlucie.k12.fl.us> Seriously, what was Mr. Caudill's first name? Dang I wish I knew where in the HELL my yearbooks are! Lisa
