I wrestled a show there in 2003. What memories it brought back. 17 years earlier I had graduated from there. Very weird feeling.

You know it's being torn down dont you? It sustained too much damage during the hurricanes in 2004. I think they're doing most of the graduations now out at the fairgrounds.

They can tear down buildings, and build up fields, but they'll never take away our fond memories of St. Lucie County, thank God for that. I look at the kids today and think, My God where do you guys go to skip school or have bon fires and keg parties? I moved to this area hating it. I now realize that old St. Lucie County to me was like Mayberry to Opie. Yeah I know corny, but children today will never know the joys we had growing up here.

I hear ya Camille ! I saw many bands, NWA and WWF wrestling matches there. Tammi and I were recently talking about seeing W.A.S.P / Quiet Riot there back in 83-84. It's a shame the county can't find the money to repair that place

Yeah I remember the first Monday of every month they'd have wrestling there. I got blood splashed on me by so many wrestlers. They'd throw each other out of the ring and we'd all get up and move out of the way before they fell on us. They'd grab the folding chairs and crack each other in the face and the blood and spit would go flying every where......totally bitchin dude!!!

Second row, in the splatter zone, ha ha.

OK, call me crazy, but I seem to remember everybody getting out of class at Lincoln Park to see Pat Benatar perform in the gym. I'm thinking, if it was real, that it had to be a cover band, but I kinda remembering it being the real deal.

I think you might have had one of those special big gulps for that Jeff. I know I would have remembered if Pat Benatar played at LP

Hmm......I had one of those special Big Gulps and then took a test in green crayon. I saw Gallagher there too his show was awesome but I wasnt lucky enough to get to sit up front. Didn't the guy from Sanford and Son also do something at the Civic Center? One of my friends said that they were the only white person there and when you panned the audience they looked like the stuff sandwiched between Oreo cookies. Was that you James?
