Camille -You mean Redd Foxx ? No I didn't go there, but I did feel like one when I went to Ft. Pierce Jai Lai to see Gucci crew and 2 short  I would have loved to have seen B.O.C Rochelle!  |

Shelly, I saw Foghat and Blue Oyster Cult twice there I think. Those were C-R-A-Z-Y concerts....I still can't believe the cops didnt arrest everyone there because in the section I was in pot was being passed around like at freakin Woodstock or something!

Kelly, I saw that the building is completley gone now. What amazes me is that they are not going to rebuild it and in my opinion expand it where it was. I hear PSL is building one.

Yeah I knew it was someone from that show. Thats sad about the Civic Center. I wonder what they're going to build there?

It's going to be more county offices. I guess we dont get to have culture anymore in Ft. Pierce.

I would think that if they're to build any cultural facilities, they would need more room and a better location than that corner offers.

they do all the graduations out at the fairgrounds now so I guess they think they dont need a new place.

no there are new and improved fairgrounds on State Road 70 about 6-8 miles west of town..
midway rd ends right there, where it feeds into Okeechobee Rd.

Joan Jett was awesome, and so was Pat Benater, but my fav was Lita Ford. She seemed so rough, I wated to be just like her, she just couldn't dance like Pat could remember Love is a Battlefield, such a rebellious song.
