WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Local television and radio personality Bruno Moore went before a judge Wednesday morning on charges of solicitation of a minor and child pornography.
Moore was arrested Tuesday by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's office.
The judge ruled that Moore can have no contact with children except for his own son -- and only then on the
telephone.
As of Wednesday afternoon, he had not posted his $25,000 bond. If he does, Moore will be on 24 hour house arrest.
Moore, a former traffic reporter for Metro Networks, is charged with six counts of child pornography and solicitation of a child.
Investigators said that Moore had innapropriate conversations with a 13-year-old Wellington girl while he worked as a disc-jockey at country music radio station WIRK.
Police said the girl contacted authorities when Moore began requesting that the two meet for a sexual rendevous.
Detective Cass Collins assumed the girl's online identity for over a month, talking to Moore through his Myspace account, instant messenger and phone text messages.
Police said he was arrested Tuesday morning at Sandy Pines treatment facility in Tequesta, where, officials said, he was hired a week before to teach English to students there.
Moore had previously worked for Metro Networks from 1997-2004, appearing on local TV and radio stations throughout Palm Beach County.
He had also worked at Summit Christian School, heading up their new media department.
