Mike, where are you these days??? I will never, ever forget you getting stuck in the trash can in the Library at Dan McCarty ... or Ms. Hill making you push the paper you threw to the trash can and missed across the room with your nose. I truly am surprised you are not still on lunch detention from that 9th grade English class!

LOL! I totally forgot about this until you reminded me. Mrs. Hill's was probably the last class that I had fun in.

Actually, I think it was Mrs. Roberts' class. I'm having a hard time remembering Mrs. Hill.

Actually, I think it was Mrs. Roberts' class. I'm having a hard time remembering Mrs. Hill. Hey, Jeff! Getting stuck in the trashcan was in Ms. Roberts class ... I think we were doing that dumb project where we had to design our own city. The pushing the paper to the trashcan with his nose was in Mrs. Hill's 9th Grade Honors English Class ... you were in that class, weren't you? I think it was 4th period, right before lunch and it was in the classroom right across from Sr. Casanova's Spanish class and next door to the French/German teacher's classroom (DAng!! I can't remember her name!). Mike got lunch detention like everyday!! She would give it to him for a week at a time! Hey, Mike, if you ever read this ... you must have had a secret crush on her to want to spend all that time with her. She would tell you, "If you open your mouth one more time, it's another week," and dang it all if you didn't have to say something else. Man! Was that uncomfortable to watch!?!

Got it now. Context is everything, I was trying to place a Mrs. Hill at Dan McCarty. The French/German teacher was Mrs. Specker, or Frau Specker as I knew her. I took two years of German from her.
