Well, we are approaching that time again!! Time to make all those resolutions that we probably didnt keep last year! What are most thankful for this year and what are we looking forward to next year?
I am always thankful for my health.. The year before I had to have surgery again on my ear. (the first time was in 1983) It was more of maintenace work but it worriesome anyway. I am thankful for my job, my family and especially my friends. The old ones, the new ones and the ones I am reconnecting with. It has been great reliving the good and the bad of our youthful pasts. It fills me with joy to see many of our classmates having happy lives. (even the ones I will NEVER be friends with again!)
As always for the upcoming year.. exercise more, eat healthier, travel more and enjoy my life.
Wishing everyone happy holidays and a fruitful New Yer!

Hallelujah sister Kelly! I couldn't agree more..."Exercise more, eat healthier, travel more, and enjoy my life." If only I could stick to it. Happy Holidays and all the best in 2007. -Bob

I used to laugh when someone would say "at least you have your health", now with 40 clearly in front of me, watching some good friends go thru the hell of health problems, I no longer take good heath for granted.. or good friends..
to quote a corny but true country song, live like you were dying
HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE..

Hey, I've already had the physical where they squash your endowments flat as a pancake. I think turning your head and coughing wouldnt be as bad!

Over the years I have made many a resolution and broken them just as fast. I've learned that the most important resolutions for me are to be the best mom possible, and to help others as much as I can. Time gets away from us all so fast, and to go through life with regrets is no way to live. Clark you are exactly correct with that song "Live Like You Were Dying", it's something that every one of us should really try to do. The past is the past, we cannot change it or go back (as much as sometimes we'd love to)...so to pick up your bootstraps and forge ahead in this world with all of your might is the best resolution one can make. I am grateful for all of my family, friends, and also to reconnect with everyone on this sight and hear how great you all are doing!

"Live Like You Were Dying" You couldn't have said it any better! I have never made New Year's resolutions becuase they just get broke anyways. I do plan to continue traveling, I love it and have been able to do a lot in the last 7 years. And be the best mom I can be.

I don't do the resolutions thing anymore either. I just try to do what I can everyday and be a great Dad and Husband to my 2 best girls in the world!

I don't really do the new year's resolution thing either -- I feel that if there is something I want to change about my life I should change it right then and there and not wait until the new year. I do,however, very much agree with the philosophy "live like you were dying". I almost lost my husband 2 1/2 years ago in an accident (he was run over by a forklift) so, as a family, we cherish every day and no longer put things off until tomorrow. I wish you all a very happy new year -- cherish every day!

Disturbing thought for today: "Technically speaking....you are born dying." So, Live Like You are Dying makes damn good sense and sounds like fun to me.
I did make a resolution for this year, I resolved not to make a resolution....dmnit screwed that one up. Grrr....never seem to follow though on 'em.
