Penn St whipped Tenn
OSU crushed Penn ST
UF barely beat UT
hope the outback was a fluke

I was there for Tenn. so it was pretty depressing to have to go home losers! The game was a cool experience though and all the fans were pretty nice.

Well, if it always ends the way its drawn up on paper then there'd be no reason what-so-ever to actually play the game.
Anything could happen.
That being said, I really believe Ohio will crush the Gators.
This year I'm attending the game watching party at my best friends house- do any of you guys have a party planned on that day.
I told ya football was my favorite sport and I certainly can't wait to see this game!

I think I'm headed to one of the sports bars to watch with some friends. I dont know if I'll be able to stay up and watch the whole thing. We watched the Boise State v. Oklahoma last week and that didnt end til 1am!!

People were mourning here in OK after the OU loss to Boise State. Me - I thought it was hilarious! I'm catching a lot of flack out here for being a UF girl ... I still wear orange/blue each Saturday and have taught my 2 year old nephew all the Gator moves required for cheering. And, the friends that I grew up with in Ohio say I'm a traitor for being a Gator now. But, alas ... we had some pretty great times in Gainesvile. Both in journalism "camp" and freshman year. Hell, I had so much fun that my parents made me come home and go to IRCC to get my grades up! So ... without a doubt - my vote for Monday's game goes to the Gators!

Cheryl, we did have some great times freshman year!! Remember the guy who wouldn't get out from under our coffee table? Debbie's date, I think. And what about Jill, Jeff, and the bubble gum incident?

Boy, its all they can talk about on ESPN and stuff. I had no idea UF was being called the 'underdogs' so much. Seriously.
I just know Tressell has proven himself as a coach and our boys or Tressell WON'T think of the Gators as 'underdogs'. I hear your new coach is really making great strides in the program, that always helps, huh? Good coaching is what it may all come down to. Only 2 years in and the new coach down there has the Gators in the 'Big one' ...... thats pretty impressive! Where did he coach before and how many Bowl games has he been in I wonder? (just thinking outloud) You can tell I watched ESPN the last few days cause I finally know a bit more about the Gators now, lol!
Are any of you Seminole fans who are going with the Gators -- or are all of you who voted Gators - 'original' Gator fans?
I'll tell you the 100% honest truth..... I'm in knots over the game but I still think the OSU team will win. I have only ONE hope -- please don't let it be a run away on EITHER side cause I *at least* hope to see a close fought, well coached game tonight with a nail biter of a 4th quarter - even OT if possible!

Hey Lisa! I, too, hope it is a great game. Both teams are awesome and seem to have class act coaches. I've been a Gator fan as long as I can remember watching games! 90 yo Grandpa is and always has been a huge fan. That's probably when I was recruited!
Urban was at Utah before he came to Florida, along with our "new" president. I'm not sure about his bowl numbers, but he apparently did very well at Utah. Here's a tidbit...Urban graduated from OSU and was an OSU assistant coach for two? years. I also remember Notre Dame trying to get him at the same time we were courting him. At the time, it was a tough decision for him. Hopefull, all that has changed for him!
