“Federal agents may take a traveler’s laptop or other electronic device to an off-site location for an unspecified period of time without any suspicion of wrongdoing, as part of border search policies the Department of Homeland Security recently disclosed.” DHS has “the ability to copy a lifetime of files from someone’s laptop, and then examine those files at the government’s leisure.”

I guess this means watch out about EVERYTHING you do on your computers if you ever intend on going across the borders (or flying, etc I guess too).'

The jury is out on how I feel about this, on the one hand I guess I shouldn't ever have anything to worry about and want our traveling to be as safe as possible....but on the other hand I would worry about if anyone else had messed with my computer.

this is 45 minutes long & parts of it seem a tad crazy but, if you take a step back & think about it, naomi wolf (the lady speaking) puts forth a compelling argument about the state of the nation.
