but I am afraid because ultimately, I am responsible for whatever mistakes the secretary makes. I know I will have a hard time committing to the idea of even hiring somebody because of my "trust issues". the difference between you and i might be a bit larger then it seems. if someone you hire doesn't do their job, someone who didn't deserve to go to jail, goes to jail. or, someone who deserves to go to jail is out on the streets. if someone i hire doesn't do their job, rich people have a dirty toilet till i come to their house on my day off & clean it. sometimes i am really glad my life is simple. i think we both need to get over our trust issues & realize we are smart enough to hire the "right" person in the first place. i know, i know.....it is much more easy said then done.

Well, my update from 'whats happening in Ohioville' for me is more of the same ole stuff....
We are under 60 days for our upcoming cruise! Oct 27 we port out of Jacksonville and I can't wait!
Football has started up and the whole town is beside themselves since our boys are looking at taking it all the way this year! Had a great start, our boys had 2 great wins, blew the other teams away actually! My boy is playing and got a TD on the field Friday night which about made me bust of course...anyone else got kids in sports and have those proud parent moments? They are times in my life that I know I need to relish since they'll both be out of HS before I even know it.
We got a new roof last month. I listed some crap on Ebay.
I also started doing this trading thing on the internet and it made me over 500 dollars in just 2 weeks time! Its something I'm working slowly on and will spill the details when I'm more 'sure' of myself about it all...
Thats about it for me, you guys are sure quiet! I assume its because with kids starting back to school and all.

Well what's been happening in our house lately... My husband left his crime scene position at the Police Dept. for a company out of VA. A lot better pay... the sucky part is he has to be out of the country for a year. Becoming an instant semi-single mom wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was actually able to adjust quickly and get a good schedule for me and Hallye. I gave my 21 year old stepdaughter the boot, was tired of the ~your not my mom attitude~ I'm working on my house. Needs paint and a few outlets to be changed and stuff like that. Once that is done I'm going to try and sell it or rent it out. Having a house while the hubby is gone is just way to much to have to take care of. other than that just trying to hang out with my sisters kids as much as possible since school has started for them.

wow, where is the Hubby?, or if you told us, you'd have to kill us [/quote] He's in Baghdad for a year, he had been in limbo in kuwait since 9/7 but finally made it to Baghdad on 9/21 he's over as a civilian and his job position is reading latent fingerprints. hopefully this year will fly by. once he gets back he has to relocate to VA.
