Here's a neat idea for a new thread. I have some tv shows that I do not miss for anything. I'd like to share them here with all of you and maybe we could discuss them. Here, not in any particular order, are my favorite TiVOed TV shows: 24 Prison Break Lost Beauty and the Geek The Shield Rescue Me American Idol Gray's Anatomy Bones Standoff House and also: Mind of Mencia Jamie Kennedy Experiment I'm sure I am forgetting a couple, but I can always add em later. Do you think these should all be in separate threads for discussion? How do you all think we should proceed? We could generate polls to predict whats gonna happen on the shows - it'll be fun! Let's hear some idea's!!

Here's a neat idea for a new thread. I have some tv shows that I do not miss for anything. I'd like to share them here with all of you and maybe we could discuss them. Here, not in any particular order, are my favorite TiVOed TV shows: there are very few shows that i will go out of my way to watch. about the only one that am sure what time they come on & i watch with any amount of regularity are: the daily show with john stewart countdown with keith olbermann family guy anthony bourdain no reservations the office mrs. dede von always gets mad because i really like the show "cops". if we aren't going out, i always try to get her to play a drinking game i made up called "shirt? no shirt". the rules to "shirt? no shirt" are simple. 1. you can only play on saturday nights 2. you can only play while watching "cops" 3. when ever the officers on "cops" are called to a domestic violence disturbance you make bets whether the people who they confront will be wearing a shirt 4. if you are wrong you take a drink if we are going out on a saturday night sometimes we end up late because this game is so fun.

My favorite shows (in no particular order) are: American Idol The Apprentice Two and a Half Men King of Queens Sex In The City Mind of Mencia Sopranos

I'm a forensics nut so I'm still hooked on CSI, the original based in Vegas. Yes, I was also an old Quincy fan. My other must watch shows are NCIS and House. CSI: New York is OK. I used to watch CSI: Miami and look for landmarks, but it's basically just a new "Bay Watch" and I couldn't stand the soapy plot-lines. Shows I used to watch and still enjoy now and then: Law & Order, Cold Case, and Without a Trace.

I to am CSI nut, and like the CSI Vegas best. I also enjoy 24, Spongebob Squarepants, Crossing Jordan, South Park, Family Guy, reruns of that 70's show, I Love New York, and VH1 - I Love the 801's. There are so many more and at the moment I can't remember. Oh wait The David Chapelle Show, Mind of Mencia, Saturday Night Live and Mad TV, WHEW I think that's it. Oh the B List on VH1, I think thats it. I watch COPs also but with the domestic dispute we take guesses as to if they're drunk, live in a trailer, how many rusty trucks are parked near the vicinity, or are they coherent. Damn we could make a game show out of all of this.

OMG I almost forgot my favorite, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I just love that show and adore those guys, especially Carson.
Margarita I talked to someone that works at a crime lab and they say that CSI is sooooooo far from reality, which I figured. I find myself sayin the same thing too. They figure things out way too easily. Maybe they can tell me where I left my keys.

I like CSI New York because of 'Lieutenant Dan' Gary Sinise. I like the original CSI Nevada. I don't particularly care for CSI Miami because I think that David Caruso over emotes. His tough guy acting doesn't convince me at all. He acts like he's Clint Eastwood in a Dirty Harry movie, and it doesn't work. Did anyone see Prison Break and 24 last night? Both awesome shows. Prison Break - Can't wait to see Scofield and Dr. Tancreti knock knees. 24 - When do we get to see Kim? There is a hot chick that works in CTU. I think her characters name is Jackie. She's a hottie too. The Shield - Can't wait for it to start. I'm sure Vic will figure out that Shane killed Lemansky...it should be good! Rescue Me - I'm glad Tommy isn't conversing with as many dead fire victims. Is Mike gay for allowing his gay roommate to perform oral? Always like to see who Franco is doing (Even if it is Susan Sarandon!) And hopefully Tommy gets jiggy with Marisa Tomei again! American Idol - Lets just wait for the final 10 Grays Anatomy - LOVE Izzy (Katherine Heigl). Wifey loves McDreamy. Bones - It's just good and I kinda got hooked on it. No real hot chicks Standoff - See 'Bones' House - LOVE Dr. Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) and Cuddy's not so bad either. Any predictions for Prison Break? 24?

Wifey watches Ghost Whisperer - so I guess I do too. I don't particularly care for Jennifer Love Hewitts acting, but her other assets make it tolerable! Las Vegas I catch from time to time but not religiously. I am a James Caan fan (Loved him in Elf)

Every time I look at him I want to say "Stand up dammit, straighten up that neck, your posture sucks. What is your problem is there someone standing up behind the person youre talking to, pay attention!!! Hold still let me smack the crapp out of you and fix that crick in your neck." David Caruso--------> <--------me fixing his neck

Margarita I talked to someone that works at a crime lab and they say that CSI is sooooooo far from reality, which I figured. My question is...Why is it always so darned dark? How can they investigate anything in such crappy light? It's impossible to watch any movies, etc that have to do with stem cells or genetics with my husband. Jurassic Park was particulary hard. He kept saying, "If you use DNA from a frog, you get a humungous frog not a dinosaur !!!!"

Of course, I love Grey's Anatomy. I like watching the Office, I can match up the people to coworkers I've had over the years. I used to like Nip/Tuck but they kind of jumped the shark this year. I've started watching Dirt with Courtney Cox and it's pretty interesting. How I Met Your Mother on CBS is pretty good. I like shows that arent on the major networks. Did anyone watch Little People/Big World on TLC? I guess I get tired of all the formula shows and look for different quirky things. I am so mad that HBO canceled Carnivale!

Yes Margarita, I agree that watching any sort of crime scene investigations show with a cop or anyone in law enforcement sucks the fun right out of it! It's like "that could never happen, blah, blah..." So, therefore outside of an occasional "world's deadliest police chase" type stuff, we don't watch many cop shows.
Oh.....almost forgot, I haven't seen an episode lately, but I love Reno 911, it totally cracks me up!

I forgot Reno 911 as well that show is too much. I feel sorry for Reno. Can you imagine what it would be like if Reno 911 teamed up with CSI Vegas? That would be one jacked up show.
Shelly, maybe it's dark for ambience (my spelling sucks). Who kows, but you're right. Maybe with all the high tech equipment they have, they have to cut back on the light bulb expenses.

Last time I went to the movie theater, they showed previews for a Reno 911 movie, I want to see it!
