Some of the best shows I've seen lately are Big Head Todd and The Monsters and James Taylor. James Taylor just puts on a great show, we see him at Red Rocks almost every time he comes to town. BHTM always seem to put on something extra because they are local to the area. They also usually have local talent join them on stage. BTW, If you've never seen a show at Red Rocks, it's worth a plane ticket to Denver. 'nuf said. James, I just got an e-mail form the Big Head Fan Club that said they were preselling tickets to Red Rocks. Do you want the info? BTW, saw Big Head in Orlando in Feb. and they were awesome!! |

ill say this for sting & the boys, they dont get drunk, hurt themselves, then cancel shows.

Shane MacGowan suffered severe damage to the ligaments of one of his knees when he fell on stage at the Orpheum Theatre, Boston on March 11. Regretably this injury caused the late cancellation of the March 14 opening New York show at Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan. The Pogues, including Shane under constant medical supervision and analgesic control, appeared at the March 15 show as scheduled. Shane was able to perform without excessive pain, so the remaing two shows of the tour will take place as scheduled. "

Sorry to hear that Peter  I did break down and buy tix to see the Police in Miami, July 10th. It will be an early bday present for my fiance'. I am looking forward to it...have never seen them live before. Since having kids, I am down to maybe 1-2 major concerts a year but I do go to some local things around this area. Sunfest this year down in West Palm will have Daughtry, Big and Rich, and I think All American Rejects, so we might check that out. |

I'm really sorry to here that Peter. Even though I was a bit jealous, I was glad to hear somebody I knew was going to see them. Too bad it didn't pan out. I'm bummed...
