Pete/Tammi - saw your post about trying to get your IPOD on your car stereo - I ordered an adapter from www.therpmstore.com ( Audio Link iPod Integration Kit ) and love it. It has a regular jack input for tradition devices (us an XM device since I am stuck driving where no FM transmissions get) and has the IPOD adapter for using that device as well. Was simple to install and sound quality is awesome compared to FM transmitter.

I went by confusion corner in Stuart last week, I think confusion records has left the building , it is a miracle that the tape deck is still open, and that is only because of the car audio I'm sure..

Happy belated bday Peter!!!!
There is a comic book store in the shopping center where tape deck and Publix are...my son loves going in there so when we're up in the Fort visiting my grandma and mom, he begs to go in there. The other day we showed up a few minutes before they opened, and having some time to kill I walked through the tape deck. Definitely NOT the same look and/or feel as "back in the day"!

new music for me! september
1. Adam & Dave's Bloodline - Adam & Dave's Bloodline
kinda got a the clash meets new order thing happening. great live band. they played the backbooth here in orlando in early august.
2. Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass
weird & wonderful hip hop. odds are you wont hear this on the radio or mtv any time soon. thats a good thing.
3. Bran Van 3000 - glee most of this is just 1 guy & a sampler. it has been sitting in a box of cds in my office for years. this morning i pulled it out & put it on my ipod. i forgot how much i liked it. cool cover of cum on feel the noize.
4. Helldorado - The Ballad Of Nora Lee
is it country? is it blues? indie rock? the hell if i know but it makes me wanna drink whiskey. dark, thick & moody.
5. M.I.A. - Arular
gotta admit, ive never been a big fan of girls in hip hop but i really do like this. sorta a mix of missy elliot meets shabba ranks. makes me wanna dance
6. Minus The Bear - Planet of Ice
straight up rock & roll. big guitar, big drums. nothing too deep, they are not trying to save the world just rock it a little.
7. Lonnie Smith - Boogaloo To Beck - A Tribute
put this cd on, open a decent bottle of wine & talk all night.
what are you listen to these days? anyone?

Last time I bought a CD it was Norah Jones after I saw her perform on a charity concert for hurricane victims..
I like all kinds of music, but not enough to go out and buy it, To be honest, after being on the road for 10 hours a day for the last almost 20 years, I listen to mostly talk radio..
AM radio means you're getting old..
