Kristine still lives in PSL. Before I moved to Central Florida we would see each other at the T.C. mall. I believe she's a stay at home mom. No contact info sorry

Here I am -- yes I am still in PSL (for now) but getting ready to move to Texas in about a week. I've been a stay at home Mom for almost 11 years now. Will post more info once I get to Texas and get settled.

Hi everybody! It's great to see some familiar names popping up. As for why I'm going to Texas, there are actually quite a few reasons -- my brothers are already out there and my parents are headed out there too. We will be moving to a much smaller town (pop. 12,000) so that will be a really nice change. PSL is just getting too big and busy for me. And, I am tired of hurricanes!

I'm with you on the PSL getting too big and busy, I tried the talk the wife into moving to Okeechobee 3 years ago when it was still cheap out there, well my wife wasn't having it, but I know where you are coming from..

PSL will end up being like Palm Beach or Lauderdale before long, except with waaaaaay more houses and too few roads for everyone to get around on!

It's really a shame where PSL is headed. It used to be such a great little town. It was great when I was little because everyone knew everyone else and we kids all went to school together. I'm looking forward to getting back to that small town life when we get to Texas, and I'm really looking forward to giving that experience to my girls.

Seeing the demise of PSL and Jensen Beach really made me sick. What was once a great small town like you said Kristine, where everyone knew everyone. I can remember going to the 7-11 on the corner of US 1 and Prima Vista and getting a Slurpee and some comic books and running into at least 3 people I knew. And every September was the Great American Raft Race !!....... Man, I should start a new thread.

Man, I almost forgot about the raft races!! I think I was in it one year, maybe with the keyettes.

Oh boy do I have some raft race stories. I still have one of the huge Budweiser banners that hung from the bridge!
